Questions, answered.
- Will it meet my city's sidewalk stamp requirement?
- Check your city's sidewalk specification for what it requires: usually the contractor's name and the year, sometimes with a minimum letter height. Even our smallest letters are taller than the half-inch minimum some city codes set. You approve the exact wording and size before we cut anything.
- Can I change the year each season?
- The year is carved into the plate. There's no swappable insert like on a bronze oval. If your city requires the current year, order the name and the year as two separate stamps so only the small year stamp needs replacing.
- What if my wording is longer or shorter?
- The price is set by stamp size: $0.60 per square inch of stamp face, with a $100 minimum. Type your own words in the designer and the exact price updates as you type. Shipping is priced separately at checkout.
- How do I use the stamp?
- Press it into the wet concrete once the surface will hold an edge, then lift straight up. The plate is machine-carved from solid rigid plastic on a welded aluminum frame, with clip-in handles so you can press straight down and lift straight up without touching the face. Every order ships with instructions.
- Can I order stamps for every crew?
- Yes. Set the quantity in your cart, or request a quote for repeat and multi-crew orders.
- How long does a stamp last?
- We can only point to the record: stamps we cut 20 years ago are still in use in the field, and 20-year-old stamped concrete is still going strong.
- How fast will it arrive?
- Production takes at least 10 business days from order confirmation, then it ships with tracking. Express and overnight shipping are available at checkout.
